RES Foundation Australia Inc.    

 

We are delighted to announce that RES has been incorporated and operationalized in Australia establishing RES Foundation Australia Inc with an aim of sustainable socio-economic development in rural-remote areas in Australia while continuing its ongoing support in developing country mainly in rural Bangladesh. RES Foundation Australia Inc promotes RES Bangladesh’s on-going projects through strategic planning and monitoring, intervention designing, fund rising and fund management and research.

Purpose of the Foundation

The objects of the RES FOUNDATION AUSTRALIA are:

To alleviate rural poverty through financial capability development, active community participation and the empowerment of women.

To create facilities for research and enhancement of education and health services.

To raise funds to support the development of the programs and projects of the organization.

The assets and income of the Association shall be applied solely in furtherance of its objects and activities and no portion shall be distributed directly or indirectly to the members of the association except as bona fide compensation for services rendered or expenses incurred on behalf of the association. The association is a voluntary, non-profit, non-government organisation.

Rural Emancipation Society (RES), Bangladesh and RES Foundation Australia Inc. are sister organizations. RES Foundation Australia Inc. is particularly initiated to raise fund from here in Australia and send to RES Bangladesh to implement its joint project in Bangladesh.
