Bio-Gas Project
RES BD and RES Foundation Australia is planning to initiate
Bio-Gas project in rural areas to produce bio-gas and energy. Bio-gas
and natural fertilizer can be produced from the cow dung. This bio-gas
will be used in the firm instead of using normal electricity. Extra gas
can also be supplied to nearby household usage and sell to others.
Multimedia-based training program for Rural Women
Since inception of the project we received a huge response
from the women and the project is successful. As most of the women are
not educated and they do no have much training and experience how to
better maintain cows, time for vaccination, cow food and market
access. Although Bangladesh government has such agricultural
development office but they do not have much equipment and other
resources.
If we could have multimedia training equipment we would be
able to develop content and materials and help training for women in the
rural areas. It is always difficult to have experts in the rural areas.
So, if we could have multimedia equipment we would be able to record and
play for training purposes in the villages.
These multimedia equipments i.e. CDs, web based content will
help to provide better knowledge and training about cow rising. We would
also be able to educate them about the value of education for their
children; remind about
their
new born babies get free immunization injection which will ensure
healthy children; and other issues which will help them for better life.
Agricultural Technology for Rural Farmers
We are also planning to initiate project which will help
rural poor farmers to use technology for land cultivation and harvesting
crops with greater ease and less expenses.
We are planning to buy new technology and lend poor farmers
with cheap rate.
